sermon: Is God's Way Simple?
From Simple to Complex
Richard T. Ritenbaugh
Given 04-Nov-00; Tape #473; 74 minutes
Description: (hide)
Richard Ritenbaugh suggests that we have been conditioned to think of things that are simple as true and godly, while we think of complex things as false and ungodly. Just because something is simple does not make it true and just because something is complex does not make it false. Deeper knowledge of God's purposes is often attended with complexity. The Bible is replete with both levels of simplicity and complexity. With advanced knowledge supplied through God's Holy Spirit, Christians , putting aside childish elementary understanding, should make steady progress probing into the deeper mysteries of God.
