And David said to Solomon his son, As for me, it was in my heart to build a house unto the name of Jehovah my God.

David said to Solomon, My son, it was in my heart to build a house to the Name {and} [for the symbol of] the Presence of the Lord my God.

And David said to Solomon, As for me, my son, I was minded to build a house unto the name of Jehovah my God.

And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God:
