For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, And the covetous renounceth, `yea', contemneth Jehovah.

Amplified® Bible
For the wicked {man} boasts (sings the praises) of his own heart's desire, and the one greedy for gain curses {and} spurns, yes, renounces {and} despises the Lord.

Darby English Version
For the wicked boasteth of his soul's desire, and he blesseth the covetous; he contemneth Jehovah.

King James Version
For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

Revised Standard Version
For the wicked boasts of the desires of his heart, and the man greedy for gain curses and renounces the LORD.

Young's Literal Translation
Because the wicked hath boasted Of the desire of his soul, And a dishonest gainer he hath blessed, He hath despised Jehovah.
