Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: And I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; And for comforters, but I found none.

Amplified® Bible
Insults {and} reproach have broken my heart; I am full of heaviness {and} I am distressingly sick. I looked for pity, but there was none, and for comforters, but I found none.

Darby English Version
Reproach hath broken my heart, and I am overwhelmed: and I looked for sympathy, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

King James Version
Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

Revised Standard Version
Insults have broken my heart, so that I am in despair. I looked for pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
