Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: They walk, O Jehovah, in the light of thy countenance.

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are the people who know the joyful sound [who understand and appreciate the spiritual blessings symbolized by the feasts]; they walk, O Lord, in the light {and} favor of Your countenance!

Blessed is the people that know the shout of joy: they walk, O Jehovah, in the light of thy countenance.

Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

Blessed are the people who know the festal shout, who walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance,
