Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of Jehovah tried him.

Amplified® Bible
Until his word [to his cruel brothers] came true, until the word of the Lord tried {and} tested him.

Until the time when what he said came about: the word of Jehovah tried him.

King James Version
Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.

Revised Standard Version
until what he had said came to pass the word of the LORD tested him.
