The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Amplified® Bible
The reverent {and} worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning (the chief and choice part) of Wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight {and} understanding.

Darby English Version
The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; and the knowledge of the Holy is intelligence.

King James Version
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Revised Standard Version
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.

Young's Literal Translation
The commencement of wisdom `is' the fear of Jehovah, And a knowledge of the Holy Ones `is' understanding.
