He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who is hasty of spirit exposes {and} exalts his folly.

He that is slow to anger is of great understanding; but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.

Young's Literal Translation
Whoso is slow to anger `is' of great understanding, And whoso is short in temper is exalting folly.
