Jehovah hath made everything for its own end; Yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Amplified® Bible
The Lord has made everything [to accommodate itself and contribute] to its own end {and} His own purpose--even the wicked [are fitted for their role] for the day of calamity {and} evil.

Darby English Version
Jehovah hath wrought everything on his own account, yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

King James Version
The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Revised Standard Version
The LORD has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble.

Young's Literal Translation
All things hath Jehovah wrought for Himself, And also the wicked `worketh' for a day of evil.
