Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to Jehovah: `Though' hand `join' in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

Amplified® Bible
Everyone proud {and} arrogant in heart is disgusting, hateful, {and} exceedingly offensive to the Lord; be assured [I pledge it] they will not go unpunished.

Darby English Version
Every proud heart is an abomination to Jehovah: hand for hand, he shall not be held innocent.

King James Version
Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

Revised Standard Version
Every one who is arrogant is an abomination to the LORD; be assured, he will not go unpunished.

Young's Literal Translation
An abomination to Jehovah `is' every proud one of heart, Hand to hand he is not acquitted.
