He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool; But whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

Amplified® Bible
He who leans on, trusts in, {and} is confident of his own mind {and} heart is a [self-confident] fool, but he who walks in skillful {and} godly Wisdom shall be delivered.

Darby English Version
He that confideth in his own heart is a fool; but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

King James Version
He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

Revised Standard Version
He who trusts in his own mind is a fool; but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.

Young's Literal Translation
Whoso is trusting in his heart is a fool, And whoso is walking in wisdom is delivered.
