Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh; for youth and the dawn of life are vanity.

Amplified® Bible
Therefore remove [the lusts that end in] sorrow {and} vexation from your heart {and} mind and put away evil from your body, for youth and the dawn of life are vanity [transitory, idle, empty, and devoid of truth].

Darby English Version
Then remove discontent from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh; for childhood and youth are vanity.

King James Version
Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.

Revised Standard Version
Remove vexation from your mind, and put away pain from your body; for youth and the dawn of life

Young's Literal Translation
And turn aside anger from thy heart, And cause evil to pass from thy flesh, For the childhood and the age `are' vanity!
