Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;

Thus says the Lord God: Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance and has greatly offended {and} has become doubly guilty by taking revenge upon them,
