When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die therein.

Amplified® Bible
When the righteous turns back from his [uncompromising] righteousness and commits perverseness {and} iniquity, he shall even die in {and} because of it.

Darby English Version
When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and doeth what is wrong, then he shall die therein.

King James Version
When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.

Revised Standard Version
When the righteous turns from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, he shall die for it.

Young's Literal Translation
In the turning back of the righteous from his righteousness, And he hath done perversity -- he dieth for it.
