And the overwhelming forces shall be overwhelmed from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

Amplified® Bible
Before him the overwhelming forces of invading armies shall be broken {and} utterly swept away; yes, and a prince of the covenant [with those who were at peace with him] also [shall be broken and swept away].

Darby English Version
And the overflowing forces shall be overflowed from before him, and shall be broken: yea, also the prince of the covenant.

King James Version
And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

Revised Standard Version
Armies shall be utterly swept away before him and broken, and the prince of the covenant also.

Young's Literal Translation
And the arms of the flood are overflowed from before him, and are broken; and also the leader of the covenant.
