Behold, his soul is puffed up, it is not upright in him; but the righteous shall live by his faith.

Amplified® Bible
Look at the proud; his soul is not straight {or} right within him, but the [rigidly] just {and} the [uncompromisingly] righteous man shall live by his faith {and} in his faithfulness.

Darby English Version
Behold, his soul is puffed up, it is not upright within him: but the just shall live by his faith.

King James Version
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Revised Standard Version
Behold, he whose soul is not upright in him shall fail, but the righteous shall live by his faith.

Young's Literal Translation
Lo, a presumptuous one! Not upright is his soul within him, And the righteous by his stedfastness liveth.
