Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Amplified® Bible
Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous--with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the poor in spirit (the humble, who rate themselves insignificant), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!

Darby English Version
Blessed [are] the poor in spirit, for *theirs* is the kingdom of the heavens.

International Standard Version
"How blessed are those who are destitute in spirit, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to them!

King James Version
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Young's Literal Translation
`Happy the poor in spirit -- because theirs is the reign of the heavens.
