On that same day [when] evening had come, He said to them, Let us go over to the other side [of the lake].

And on that day, when evening was come, he says to them, Let us go over to the other side:

International Standard Version
That day, when evening had come, he said to them, "Let's cross to the other side."

King James Version
And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.

Young's Literal Translation
And he saith to them on that day, evening having come, `We may pass over to the other side;'
