And not many days after that, the younger son gathered up all that he had and journeyed into a distant country, and there he wasted his fortune in reckless {and} loose [from restraint] living.

And after not many days the younger son gathering all together went away into a country a long way off, and there dissipated his property, living in debauchery.

International Standard Version
A few days later, the younger son gathered all he had and traveled to a distant country. There he wasted his possessions on wild living.
