And in Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

And in Hades (the realm of the dead), being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far away, and Lazarus in his bosom.

And in hades lifting up his eyes, being in torments, he sees Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

In the afterlife, where he was in constant torture, he looked up and saw Abraham far away and Lazarus by his side.
