American Standard Version
But take heed to yourselves, lest haply your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day come on you suddenly as a snare:

Amplified® Bible
But take heed to yourselves {and} be on your guard, lest your hearts be overburdened {and} depressed (weighed down) with the giddiness {and} headache {and} nausea of self-indulgence, drunkenness, and worldly worries {and} cares pertaining to [the business of] this life, and [lest] that day come upon you suddenly like a trap {or} a noose;

Darby English Version
But take heed to yourselves lest possibly your hearts be laden with surfeiting and drinking and cares of life, and that day come upon you suddenly unawares;

International Standard Version
"Constantly be on your guard so that your hearts may not be loaded down with self-indulgence, drunkenness, and the worries of this life, or that day will take you by surprise

King James Version
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

Young's Literal Translation
`And take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts may be weighed down with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and anxieties of life, and suddenly that day may come on you,
