That you have with another (ouv antiballete prov allhlouv). Anti-ballw is an old verb and means to throw in turn, back and forth like a ball, from one to another, a beautiful picture of conversation as a game of words. Only here in the N.T.
They stood still (estaqhsan). First aorist passive of isthmi, intransitive. They stopped.
Looking sad (skuqrwpoi). This is the correct text. It is an old adjective from skuqrov, gloomy and oy, countenance. Only here in the N.T.
