Luke 24:22

Amazed us (ecesthsan hmav). First aorist active (transitive) indicative with accusative hmav of ecisthmi. The second aorist active is intransitive.

Early (orqrinai). A poetic and late form for orqriov. In the N.T. only here and 24:22. Predicate adjective agreeing with the women.
