Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but, that I am sent before him.

You yourselves are my witnesses [you personally bear me out] that I stated, I am not the Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), but I have [only] been sent before Him [in advance of Him, to be His appointed forerunner, His messenger, His announcer].

Darby English Version
Ye yourselves bear me witness that I said, I am not the Christ, but, that I am sent before him.

International Standard Version
You yourselves are my witnesses that I said, 'I am not the Christ, but I have been sent ahead of him.'

King James Version
Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.

Young's Literal Translation
ye yourselves do testify to me that I said, I am not the Christ, but, that I am having been sent before him;
