A woman of Samaria (gunh ek thv Samariav). The country, not the city which was two hours away.
To draw water (antlhsai udwr). First aorist active infinitive of purpose of antlew for which see John 2:8 f. Cf. Rebecca in Genesis 24:11, Genesis 24:17.
Give me to drink (dov moi pein). Second aorist active imperative of didwmi and second aorist active infinitive (object of dov) of pinw, shortened form of piein. A polite request.
