The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Behold how ye prevail nothing: lo, the world is gone after him.

Then the Pharisees said among themselves, You see how futile your efforts are {and} how you accomplish nothing. See! The whole world is running after Him!

Darby English Version
The Pharisees therefore said to one another, Ye see that ye profit nothing: behold, the world is gone after him.

International Standard Version
Then the Pharisees said to one another, "You see, there is nothing you can do. Look, the world has gone after him!"

King James Version
The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

Young's Literal Translation
the Pharisees, therefore, said among themselves, `Ye see that ye do not gain anything, lo, the world did go after him.'
