American Standard Version
for he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

Amplified® Bible
For he was a good man [good in himself and also at once for the good and the advantage of other people], full of {and} controlled by the Holy Spirit and full of faith (of his belief that Jesus is the Messiah, through Whom we obtain eternal salvation). And a large company was added to the Lord.

Darby English Version
for he was a good man and full of [the] Holy Spirit and of faith; and a large crowd [of people] were added to the Lord.

International Standard Version
For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith. And so a large crowd was brought to the Lord.

King James Version
For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

Young's Literal Translation
because he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit, and of faith, and a great multitude was added to the Lord.
