Acts 27:9

Luke, writing this over 30 years after Christ's death, makes it very clear that the early church observed this holy day.

Acts 27:9

All biblical scholars know that "the fast" refers to the Day of Atonement. The evangelist Luke wrote this more than thirty years after Christ's crucifixion. If the Day of Atonement no longer existed, God would not have inspired those words!

The early New Testament Church of God set the example for God's church today. And the true church of God today keeps all of God's holy days—including the fast of the Day of Atonement!
