American Standard Version
knowing this, that our old man was crucified with `him', that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;

Amplified® Bible
We know that our old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that [our] body [which is the instrument] of sin might be made ineffective {and} inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin.

Darby English Version
knowing this, that our old man has been crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be annulled, that we should no longer serve sin.

International Standard Version
We know that our old selves were crucified with him so that our sinful bodies might be rendered powerless and we might no longer be slaves to sin.

King James Version
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Young's Literal Translation
this knowing, that our old man was crucified with `him', that the body of the sin may be made useless, for our no longer serving the sin;
