And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the spirit is life because of righteousness.

Amplified® Bible
But if Christ lives in you, [then although] your [natural] body is dead by reason of sin {and} guilt, the spirit is alive because of [the] righteousness [that He imputes to you].

Darby English Version
but if Christ be in you, the body is dead on account of sin, but the Spirit life on account of righteousness.

International Standard Version
But if Christ is in you, your bodies are dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

King James Version
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Young's Literal Translation
and if Christ `is' in you, the body, indeed, `is' dead because of sin, and the Spirit `is' life because of righteousness,
