For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be put to shame.

Amplified® Bible
The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame {or} be disappointed.

Darby English Version
For the scripture says, No one believing on him shall be ashamed.

International Standard Version
For the Scripture says, "Everyone who believes in him will not be ashamed."

King James Version
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Young's Literal Translation
for the Writing saith, `Every one who is believing on him shall not be ashamed,'
