American Standard Version
For we stretch not ourselves overmuch, as though we reached not unto you: for we came even as far as unto you in the gospel of Christ:

Amplified® Bible
For we are not overstepping the limits of our province {and} stretching beyond our ability to reach, as though we reached not (had no legitimate mission) to you, for we were [the very first] to come even as far as to you with the good news (the Gospel) of Christ.

Darby English Version
For we do not, as not reaching to you, overstretch ourselves, (for we have come to you also in the glad tidings of the Christ;)

International Standard Version
For it is not as though we were overstepping our limits when we came to you. We were the first to reach you with the gospel of Christ.

King James Version
For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:

Young's Literal Translation
for not as not reaching to you do we stretch ourselves overmuch, for even unto you did we come in the good news of the Christ,
