He therefore that supplieth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, `doeth he it' by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Amplified® Bible
Then does He Who supplies you with His marvelous [Holy] Spirit and works powerfully {and} miraculously among you do so on [the grounds of your doing] what the Law demands, or because of your believing in {and} adhering to {and} trusting in {and} relying on the message that you heard?

Darby English Version
He therefore who ministers to you the Spirit, and works miracles among you, [is it] on the principle of works of law, or of [the] report of faith?

International Standard Version
Does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you because you do the works of the law or because you believe what you heard?

King James Version
He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Young's Literal Translation
He, therefore, who is supplying to you the Spirit, and working mighty acts among you -- by works of law or by the hearing of faith `is it'?
