Unto me who am less than the least of all saints (emoi tw elaxistoterw pantwn agiwn). Dative case emoi with eloqh. The peculiar form elaxistoterw (in apposition with emoi) is a comparative (-terov) formed on the superlative elaxistov. This sort of thing was already done in the older Greek like esxatoterov in Xenophon. It became more common in the Koin‚. So the double comparative meizoteran in 3 John 1:4. The case of agiwn is ablative. This was not mock humility (1 Corinthians 15:9), for on occasion Paul stood up for his rights as an apostle (2 Corinthians 11:5).
The unsearchable riches of Christ (to anecixniaston ploutov tou Xristou). Anecixniastov (a privative and verbal of ecixniazw, to track out, ec and ixnov, track) appears first in Job 5:9; Job 9:10. Paul apparently got it from Job. Nowhere else in N.T. except Romans 11:33. In later Christian writers. Paul undertook to track out the untrackable in Christ.
