For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the church, `being' himself the saviour of the body.

Amplified® Bible
For the husband is head of the wife as Christ is the Head of the church, Himself the Savior of [His] body.

Darby English Version
for a husband is head of the wife, as also the Christ [is] head of the assembly. *He* [is] Saviour of the body.

International Standard Version
For the husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. It is he who is the Savior of the body.

King James Version
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Young's Literal Translation
because the husband is head of the wife, as also the Christ `is' head of the assembly, and he is saviour of the body,
