Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.

Amplified® Bible
Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist {and} stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].

Darby English Version
For this reason take [to you] the panoply of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having accomplished all things, to stand.

International Standard Version
For this reason, take up the whole armor of God so that you may be able to take a stand in that evil day. And when you have done everything you could, you will be able to stand firm.

King James Version
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Young's Literal Translation
because of this take ye up the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to resist in the day of the evil, and all things having done -- to stand.
