whereunto he called you through our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amplified® Bible
[It was] to this end that He called you through our Gospel, so that you may obtain {and} share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

Darby English Version
whereto he has called you by our glad tidings, to [the] obtaining of [the] glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

With this purpose in mind, he called you through our proclamation of the gospel so that you would obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
