American Standard Version
holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away.

Amplified® Bible
For [although] they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny {and} reject {and} are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them].

Darby English Version
having a form of piety but denying the power of it: and from these turn away.

International Standard Version
They will hold to an outward form of godliness but deny its power. Stay away from such people.

King James Version
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Young's Literal Translation
having a form of piety, and its power having denied; and from these be turning away,
