They profess (omologousin). Present active indicative of omologew, common verb (omou, legw) as in Romans 10:10 f. Eidenai (know) is second perfect active infinitive of oida in indirect assertion.
By their works (toiv ergoiv). Instrumental case.
They deny (arnountai). Present middle of arneomai, old verb, common in the Gospels and the Pastoral Epistles (1 Timothy 5:8; Titus 2:12; 2 Timothy 2:12).
Abominable (bdeluktoi). Verbal adjective from bdelussomai. Only in LXX and here.
Disobedient (apeiqeiv). See Romans 1:30.
Reprobate (adokimoi). See on 1 Corinthians 9:27; Romans 1:28.
