American Standard Version
For every one that partaketh of milk is without experience of the word of righteousness; for he is a babe.

Amplified® Bible
For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced {and} unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [not able to talk yet]!

Darby English Version
For every one that partakes of milk [is] unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe;

International Standard Version
For everyone who lives on milk is still a baby and is inexperienced in the message of righteousness.

King James Version
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

Young's Literal Translation
for every one who is partaking of milk `is' unskilled in the word of righteousness -- for he is an infant,
