Hebrews 6:13

Made promise (epaggeilamenov). First aorist middle participle of epaggellw. Could swear by none greater (kat oudenov eixen meizonov omosai). Imperfect active of exw in sense of edunato as often with omosai (first aorist active infinitive of omnuw) and wmosen (he sware) is first aorist active indicative.
