For we know him that said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Amplified® Bible
For we know Him Who said, Vengeance is Mine [retribution and the meting out of full justice rest with Me]; I will repay [I will exact the compensation], {says the Lord.} And again, The Lord will judge {and} determine {and} solve {and} settle the cause {and} the cases of His people.

Darby English Version
For we know him that said, To me [belongs] vengeance; *I* will recompense, saith the Lord: and again, The Lord shall judge his people.

International Standard Version
For we know the one who said, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will pay them back," and again, "The Lord will judge his people."

King James Version
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Young's Literal Translation
for we have known Him who is saying, `Vengeance `is' Mine, I will recompense, saith the Lord;' and again, `The Lord shall judge His people;' --
