American Standard Version
But we are not of them that shrink back unto perdition; but of them that have faith unto the saving of the soul.

Amplified® Bible
But our way is not that of those who draw back to eternal misery (perdition) and are utterly destroyed, but we are of those who believe [who cleave to and trust in and rely on God through Jesus Christ, the Messiah] {and} by faith preserve the soul.

Darby English Version
But *we* are not drawers back to perdition, but of faith to saving [the] soul.

International Standard Version
Now, we do not belong to those who turn back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.

King James Version
But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Young's Literal Translation
and we are not of those drawing back to destruction, but of those believing to a preserving of soul.
