And now, `my' little children, abide in him; that, if he shall be manifested, we may have boldness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

Amplified® Bible
And now, little children, abide (live, remain permanently) in Him, so that when He is made visible, we may have {and} enjoy perfect confidence (boldness, assurance) and not be ashamed {and} shrink from Him at His coming.

Darby English Version
And now, children, abide in him, that if he be manifested we may have boldness, and not be put to shame from before him at his coming.

International Standard Version
Even now, little children, abide in him. Then, when he appears, we will have confidence and will not turn away from him in shame at his coming.

King James Version
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

Young's Literal Translation
And now, little children, remain in him, that when he may be manifested, we may have boldness, and may not be ashamed before him, in his presence;
