Let no man lead you astray (mhdeiv planatw umav). Present active imperative of planaw, "let no one keep on leading you astray." See 1 John 1:8; 1 John 2:26. Break the spell of any Gnostic charmer.
He that doeth righteousness (o poiwn thn dikaiosunhn). "He that keeps on doing (present active participle of poiew) righteousness." For this idiom with poiew see 1 John 1:6; 1 John 3:4.
He (ekeinov). Christ as in verse 1 John 3:5.
