Elam

e'-lam ('elam):
(1) A son of Shem (Genesis 10:22; 1 Chronicles 1:17; see ELAMITES).
(2) A Benjamite (1 Chronicles 8:24).
(3) A Korahite (1 Chronicles 26:3).
(4) Heads of families in the return (Ezra 2:7 parallel Nehemiah 7:12; Ezra 2:31 parallel Nehemiah 7:34; Ezra 8:7; Ezra 10:2, Ezra 10:26).
(5) A chief of the people (Nehemiah 10:14).
(6) A priest (Nehemiah 12:42).
