Greatness of Christ

Philippians 2:9  (Go to this verse :: Verse pop-up) Jesus is not against greatness or having power, but He wants it to be given by God. God will give it to those who are in harmony with His law, His government, and His way of life. Colossians 2:9-10  (Go to this verse :: Verse pop-up) Paul is saying, "Look, brethren, you have contact with and guidance from God. Why settle for demons?" Looking back into chapter one, we ought to see clearly why Paul wrote what he did: He was establishing the greatness of Christ as contrasted to demons. John W.
